A few weeks ago we went camping to Fish Lake and had a great time. I even caught four fish! Well, I caught more than fish, I caught a sunburn. And, not just any sunburn, a second degree sunburn. It was pure torture! I had to go in everyday for a week to get the skin taken off of my arms and I had bandages on them for two weeks. I have only had the dressings off for three days now. I only have pics of the burns for the first week and a half. They look so much better now! I will have to take a pic later of how much better they look. But, just for your viewing pleasure I will post what they looked like the first week and a half.

4th of July Fun
We had a great 4th of July! We spent the evening at my sister Jaime's house. It was so much fun to just spend time with family. The evening came to a grinding holt though when the cops showed up around 10:30pm to give my cute husband a ticket for using illegal fireworks. The show was great though! I hope you all had a wonderful day too.

Happy 4th Everyone!

I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. I love our country and I love getting to spend some time with my family and friends. It is also a day to give thanks to all of our wonderful troops for all the hard work they do to keep our freedom intact! Here are a few pics of Bob when he was in Afghanistan for a year.We are so very proud of him!

Cruise to Alaska
What a great time we had in Alaska with our friends Lonnie and Cari! I recommend everyone go on an Alaskan cruise at some point in their lives. We had a ball exploring all the cities, the nightlife on the cruise, doing a zip line challenge course, and just being with great friends. Bob and I were even on the ships version of "The Newlywed Not So Newlywed" game and won. It was broad casted all over the ship and by the end of the cruise, a lot of people were recognising me and Bob. We had such a great time. There were way to many pictures so I tried to pick some of the better ones out. It is a bit long but I hope you enjoy looking at them (59 in all).

Payson Lakes

A few weeks ago we went to Payson Lakes to go camping. This was the first time I had been camping since we have moved back from England. We had such a great time. We had forgotten how much we loved it.

Britney Spears Concert
So, way back a few months ago my daughters and I had a fun night out. We went to dinner and then rode the train into down town Salt Lake City to see Britney. It was a really fun night.

Trip to the zoo
I have fallen so behind on my blogging! So much to post but so little time. I am hoping to catch up a little bit this weekend. A few weekends ago the weather here was just wonderful. We enjoyed it by being outside and taking a trip to the zoo.

Addy Wants To Be A Nurse Too
My oldest daughter Megan is going to graduate from high school with her associate of science degree and then go to the U of U to get her registered nursing degree. For those of you who don't know, both Bob and I are registered nurses. Well, Addy had to dress up for school the other day in an outfit that they would wear to the job they want to do when they grow up. Addy said she wanted to be a nurse, so we dressed her up in one of my scrub outfits. She looked so cute!

Collin's First Ski Trip
In an earlier post I mentioned that Bob took Collin for his first ski trip and loved it. They took a day and went up to Park City. Collin can't wait to get back on the slopes. Here are a few pics of his first ski adventure.

Our Weekend In Zion National Park

Boy, did we have an eventful trip. I don't think it would be one of our trips if it all went off without a hitch. We left for Zion's right after I got off of work on Friday and drove straight to Zion's which took around four hours, so we got there around 12:30 am. When we got there, they had messed up our reservations and said that we only made a reservation for one room with two queen size beds. Now, there was my family which makes five, and our friends Lonnie and Cari...that made seven of us. Plus, we took our dog Harley and our bunny Thumper (Thumper is just to cute to leave at home ya know). They actually tried to put us all in one room because they said all the other rooms were booked! After a lot of arguing, they finally gave us an extra room, ugh.
Saturday was great! It was warm and sunny and we were able to go on a few fun trails that Lonnie could take his wheelchair on and we could take Harley on. We spent the day soaking up the sun and seeing the sites.
So, there was our eventful weekend. Here are a few pictures (20 pics total).

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I thought today would be a perfect day to re-post our pictures from our trip to Dublin, Ireland that we took last year. I loved Ireland and I really hope that we get to go back there one day soon. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Busy Weekend
We had a very busy weekend. Bob took Collin up to Park City on his very first ski trip. He absolutely loved it! We are going to have to start saving our pennies so we can make it a family sport I think. Addy and Bob worked on her science project this weekend. They were seeing how warm and cold affected air in balloons. They had a great time! Megan and her friend Robin played their violins at Robin's Wards sacrament meeting, they have been practicing for weeks. Harley the puppy, well, all she did was sleep, eat, and play. All in all, it was a good weekend. I will post a video of Collin skiing this weekend (he looked so cute).

Just a quick update
There really hasn't been much going on here at the Peacock house. I have been really sick with a respiratory infection and am getting really tired of being house bound, heck, couch bound. We did get to enjoy the wonderful weather last weekend and took Harley on a nice long walk before I got sick. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
Looking forward to a nice long walk
She loves being free in the wind

Megan's Birthday Bash at the Rascal Flatts Concert

Megan wanted to go to the Rascal Flatts concert for her 17th birthday. So, we let her pick two friends and last night we took them out to dinner and to the concert. We had a great time! We even liked Jessica Simpson who opened the show.
